9-17-15 Tried some different exercise apps.

Hi, for anyone interested in mixing up their exercise I have a couple recommendations. I am working off of Android, but I am sure they probably have it for other systems too. I down loaded two apps: 10 daily exercises and 10 daily yoga poses. They are made by the same people I believe. I just completed them and I am out of breath, chest pounding and sweaty. They both work off what you want for work out time and rest breaks. The exercise one keeps track on a calendar the days you fulfill your exercise for that day. The yoga one you can put in how long you want to hold the pose and how long the rests are between poses. It does give you a bit to get into the next pose.
For the exercise app you can pick what level you want to do. The 10 exercises are: basic crunch, push- up, leg up crunch, jumping jacks, squat, high knees, lunge, bench dip, bicycle crunch and plank with leg lift. It dictates how many of each to do but you get how ever much time you need to do them. You choose how long the rest break is between each exercise. The yoga app has 10 poses that you get to choose how long to hold the pose and how long rest is between poses. The 10 poses are: boat, bridge, chair, child, cobra, cow, downward facing dog, standing forward bend, plank, and upward extended feet. The yoga app, if you click on each pose on the list of poses it tells you the benefits of that pose. If you click on the exercise on the list for the exercise app it show you an animated demo of that exercise.
These apps are very simple yet effective surprisingly! I didn't expect to be as well worked out as I am. I think I may stick to this for awhile. I am thinking about doing a squat challenge on top of this, maybe when I get more used to this. You can make these apps very easy yet challenging for yourself or more difficult.
I hope this helps someone find some type of movement. There are so many apps to try out. These 2 are free. I didn't have to put any personal info in either. I have a chrome cast and used that through my phone to bring the app up on the tv screen to make it easier to see when I am doing it.
