Its seriously been 2 years since I paid attention to my health or weight...and it shows! I've been a yo-yo dieter for years, lose 20 gain 25, and so on. I am at my highest weight and doing something about it. I have been back at it for 3 weeks, and I am down 7.2lbs. I am happy with that and I am really motivated. I have a goal, 37lbs by my 37th birthday, which is 18 weeks from today, since I am down some I have about 30lbs to go. Now this is really just my first big goal, but since I usually fall off the wagon when I get to that point I am just focusing on this first.
There are a few important things happening around my birthday, number one is my brother and his girlfriend are having their first baby, so I want to feel good about myself in all the pictures I want with my new niece or nephew. Also in early February we are planning family photos, like professional ones with my husband, kids, parents and brothers family. I want to be happy with these photos, I want to proudly display them in my house.
So there you have it, 30lbs in the next 18 weeks is the goal! I have been putting in lots for workout time, cardio and some weights. I am watching my food but not counting every little thing because I want to make a lasting change I can stick with and being too strict doesn't work for me. Anyone want to join me in 18 weeks to a healthier you?
