Day 46 of Whole30--obviously going longer than 30 days. :-)

Hi everyone. Just wanted to stop by and say hi and that I'm still going on my Whole30 [second round]. I had a pretty rough weekend last weekend and felt deprived for the first time since starting. We went to our friend's 60th surprise birthday party. There was LOADS of delicious looking food. I brought chicken salad over chopped red and green cabbage and 3 dates with almond butter for me just in case there was nothing for me to eat. But they had a relish tray and fruit salad so I also ate some veggies and a small helping of fruit salad [cantaloupe, grapes and blueberries]. I SO wanted to taste the French Onion soup that someone made from scratch and it looked delicious and a Chicken White Chili but I didn't have any of it. I wasn't drawn at all to the jello salads, hot dishes, or the pasta salads, or the homemade buns or desserts, but I REALLY wanted the soups! I need to experiment more with soups that are Whole30 compliant.
Tonight I had chicken sautéed in a little coconut oil and then I sautéed onions, peppers [yellow, red, orange], mushrooms and shredded carrots and poured over a bed of salad greens with hard boiled egg, black olives, cherry tomatoes, 1/2 avocado, and "dump ranch" which is ABSOLUTELY delicious and Whole30 complaint.
