Cat Waylays Foot

Here's a photo of my Artistic black cat. He sits in the corner by the front door . I use him sometimes to hold the door open.

Somehow by accident I caught my right foot in the whiskers , injuring my toes. Needed a few stiches and some recovery time.

Warning, I have ugly feet. My big toe is smaller than other toes. Trait that runs in the family.

Here's how feet look this morning. You may notice two toes on right foot were the injured ones.


Besides foot being swollen, the stitches needed to reattach little toe needs antiseptic applied.
The pain is minimal, now. At first believe me it was off the charts.

Still don't fit into shoes. Didn't mind so much the weather was rainy, didn't mind staying in. But this weekend even though it's cool the sun is out and would love to go to the park. I'm sure Titan would too.
Speaking of Titan, he has been my constant companion.
The first photo is a little lump under the covers, lump is Titan, where he goes to avoid TV.
Next photo is a sleeping Titan. As I write this blog, Titan is in the same place, stretched out sleeping.




I'm not as worried about being able to find shoes to ware to the family Thanksgiving dinner .
I think the swelling will be minimal and out of the 80 pairs of shoes I own, something will fit.
Hate to have to resort to my ugly "fat" sandals. I kept them as a reminder of those limited years. The obese me who only had TWO pairs of shoes. Ones that I could slip on with out bending over, without laces, no buckles . They are also a size 10 1/2 wide.
My normal shoe is a 9 med. width.
