Wow. I retired the end of September, went on a cruise in October and since then I've been sliding. Little exercise. I got sick mid-December with bronchitis and got down to 170 and now after "recovering" (I'm still coughing) and eating all the holiday goodies I'm up to a higher weight then I've been all year (176!). Time to turn this buggy around and get back in the groove! It still suprises me how much a lot of sweets (cookies, pie) can pack on the pounds. It's like a stimulant that I want to eat even more and move less.
It's also annoying that I can put on 6 pounds in a week or less yet the only way to move the needle the other way takes months!
