209.4 lbs. Went up.
187 fasting BSL also too high.
But the last day of 2015, and the first day of 2016, I was the happiest I have been in a long time. I will take that and cherish it forever. That was the best 24 hours that I have had in so long...if ever. Very peaceful, everyone happy, everyone enjoyed each other, no liquor, food was healthy, I had gotten in much exercise before hand, all my kids were here, my hubby was here, we all got many hours together. It was just what my soul needed.

This year I am going to continue on my journey to lower my blood sugars. And if by getting that under control, my weight goes down, that is an added bonus. I will continue to make time for me. I will continue to find and do things that help my mind relax. I will continue with purposeful exercise. I will continue eating better for me.

Part of last night I worked on something I got as a Christmas gift. I am the happy recipient of coloring books for grown ups. They are very detailed, and a simple way to remove your thinking from everything going on and what bothers you to help calm it down. I slept great when I finally went to bed. Hubby got called for a issue at work this morning that woke me up and I couldn't get back to sleep. But that's ok. I am happy. I highly recommend the coloring books. I notice they can be bought just about anywhere. Some places are Jo-Ann Fabrics, Walmart, Sam's Club, grocery stores, Hobby Lobby, book stores, online, etc. I suggest getting anything you can to work in them. I currently am using thin tip solid markers and metallic thin tip markers. I also have a vast variety of colored pencils to use yet on some calming page of art. I didn't think it would be so calming, but am pleasantly surprised.
