After 25 years, he still puts up with me!!

We have been celebrating our anniversary and the year-end holidays by spending a week in Yosemite, first at the Wawona Hotel and now we're in the Yosemite Lodge at the Falls. We went out to dinner last night at the Mountain Room here at the Lodge and tonight we are dining at the Ahwahnee Hotel. Last night's dinner was rather raucous because they gave everyone silly hats, noisemakers and we ate early so there were lots of kids present. Hmmm, what do you get when a bunch of kids have silly hats and noisemakers?? But even though we had imagined a quiet dinner, we decided to have fun with it and wore our own silly hats while we enjoyed the children having a good time.

We have lounged around all morning so far today like a couple of bums - we watched the Rose Parade on TV, like we usually do, and we'll go out for a walk sometime this afternoon. Tonight is dinner again so it's a low-key but happy celebration!
