Well, I made it thru the first day of the year. We went to the store and I grabbed plenty of veggies, some fruit, and cheese among other healthier choices. I cut up the veggies and sliced the cheese. I have almonds and other nuts to much on. I had 136 minutes of exercise for the day. I was even able to stay away from the sugar food.... donuts (I had a scrambled egg with veggies), candy, cookies, etc. Am very proud of myself for staying in check. My goal is to stay away from the sugar for the month of January. Today will be spent cutting up more veggies and measuring out single size portions for easy grab and go snacks.
