Got some things accomplished today, but also had some frustrations. First, the accomplishments. I did a 4 mile walk this morning even though I typically do less. I was thinking about how I am going to beat my steps from last year and the only solution is to walk more when possible. So I did... I also did 30 minutes on the treadmill this afternoon.

Also on the "to do" list was getting the Christmas stuff in the attic. I got it in and organized. To get to the attic, you go through a little door that is up in my "she cave". I decided I also needed to do a little clean-up in that area and I made some good progress. I put some stuff away and re-arranged a little and now I have a nice area for when I "lift heavy". I need more room for that because I use a barbell and it is wide. If I swing it wrong I could end up hitting something so wanted to have a comfortable zone. I believe that the barbell weighs 40 pounds. I did 10 deadlifts, 10 chest presses, 10 rows, and 10 squats. 40 pounds is a little heavy for me to do an overhead press, so I used two 15 pound dumb bells for those.

I also cleaned up my desk area and put the 2015 receipts and other paperwork into a storage box. I was going to set up my 2016 files but couldn't get the printer to work. I tried to print off something yesterday without success, but the strange thing is the printer works from my husbands computer. We discussed various solutions but so far no luck. I deleted the printer from my computer and planned to re-install but now I can't get the printer disk to re-install it. sigh....

This afternoon, the plan was to work outside and trim some plants and do a little clean-up. It has been sunny but cold so I bundled up and worked for an hour. I accomplished what I had planned to do and will do more outside tomorrow. I need to take advantage of the weather while I can. I always feel better when the garden beds look tended to and debris isn't staring me in the face. When I was trimming the hydrangeas I noticed that some of them even had little buds.

Overall, I feel good about what was accomplished today. The plan for this evening is to work a little on writing up info for Sparkpeople. They are doing a feature on Half Marathons and contacted me. Not sure how the information will be used (an article maybe?) but happy to do it.

Busy Gal. Today our Christmas stuff will get put away. Will probably take all of 15 minutes. I gave away 95 % of it when I got it out from : the garage, attic, and different closets... it was TIME. I am such a happy camper now. .. and I LOVE what I kept. Part of my decluttering projects that I have been wanting to do.
