Yesterday was a great day. It was beautiful and sunny and in the 40's. I saw my therapist and we walked on a trail during my appointment. What a perfect setting and it made me happy.
Being in nature is so relaxing and enjoyable. Later in the day I took Becca on a long walk too. A little under 2 miles. She slept like a baby afterwards. Fynn's just excited that she's too tired to run him off, lol. He loves Becca.
Food Blog
Breakfast: Coffee and one slice of toast with almond butter and half a banana.
I split my banana with Becca. She's was so excited that she was shaking so much she looks blurry. Banana is her favorite fruit by far. Green beans are her favorite vegetable, just in case you were wondering, lol.
Snack: Grande skinny vanilla latte
Lunch: Turkey and Swiss on rye from the local deli and small bag of chips. It's hard to tell but this sandwich is huge! It's probably a sandwich and half at least. I was starving and ate it all.
Snack: 2 Kiwis only. After the kiwis I was satisfied and decided I didn't need the trail mix. Intuitive eating at it's best here. Yay!
Dinner: Turkey feta and spinach burger with Muenster cheese on a pretzel bun topped with aioli, a small avocado and veggie pasta salad and 3 pickle spears. OMG, this burger was soooo delicious. Avocado makes everything better.
Exercise: 42 minute walk with Becca Bo Peep.

The giant deli sandwich, 300 calorie pretzel bun and an entire avocado made this day way too high in calories. I didn't plan this day out so was deciding what I was eating on the fly. I was making decent decisions but everything was bigger and more calories than normal which I didn't realize until I tracked my calories at the end of the day. I must be careful to plan ahead of time.
Without mistakes you can't learn and learning is part of the process too. And I'm ok with that.
