I think it's so important to blog when we are on a weight loss journey (eating healthy for life journey!) So that brings me back to sparkpeople :) Plus the community that has always been so supportive.
I find myself needing sparkpeople! :)
2015 wasn't a good year for me. I had more downs then I did ups. But I can say that I never once stopped fighting. I may have been off course for a few weeks or even months but eventually I would pick myself back up and get right back to diet and exercise.
My thought process right now is to set goals for myself and to work my butt off to reach them. I have a 1 month goal and a 4 month goal. In 4 months I will be at goal!
But before I say much more about that I need to talk about 2015....
The toughest thing that ever happened to me.. (The horrible thing that shook my world).. is I lost my brother who was only 36. I cant really say much more about that right now other then just getting it off my chest.
My brother and husband co owned a business and my husband decided that with out my brother he would sell it.... AND we decided to move my family from Florida to Indiana......... I've been living in Indiana since the end of Dec...
My entire world has been rocked but I'm fighting.. I'm still believing that I can get to my goals.. I can be healthy.
My children need me to be healthy.
I heard a stat the other day that literally made me physically ill. It stated that if both parents are over weight their children have an 85% chance of being over weight as an adult...
That means that I have 6 people, 6 humans that are looking to me to show them how to be healthy.. If I don't get my eating habits under control I'm dooming them for a life of obesity and health problems. if that isn't enough to get me moving I don't think anything is.
So back to my goals. In one month I am going to GA for my kids spring break (my family is there).. I plan to be at a good place, emotionally and physically. I've been working my butt off with exercising again and I even had hubs by me weights so I can add dead lifts to my exercise routine.
My 4 month goal (by July 4th) is to be at goal weight! Here I come 146!!!!

I know I haven't been around in a long time but I plan to be active on here! I hope to form new friendships and renew old!
