Days 16 and 17 of Focus T25!

Hi Everyone!!

Yesterday was a long, late, rough day at work. I didn't end up getting home from work until after 10pm. I deliberated for a minute, and then said, "I'm not working out." I made the right decision. I ate a quick snack, showered, and went straight to bed partially because I was so exhausted and partially because I needed to be up at 6am for work.

Today was incredibly busy at work as well. I stopped on my way in and picked up breakfast, a fresh and fluffy everything bagel and a home made crunchy veggie cream cheese with slices of tomato and hot sauce. I ate it over the course of 4 1/2 hours. It was really good, but the cream cheese kind of hurt my stomach since I don't really do dairy much anymore. After I finished it I only had a short break before my next round of meetings. I made a noodle soup that I had at work and ate that.... then all of a sudden it was 5 hours later and time to go home. Where did the time go?!? I wanted to get in at least one workout tonight since I missed yesterday, but I ended up being able to get in a double workout!! I was so proud, I'm really feeling it now though! LOL. I drank a protein shake during the first workout so that I had some fuel in me to get through them both even though I hadn't really eaten. I made sure to eat a healthy, filling dinner.

The first workout I did was the one I should have done yesterday: Speed 1.0. I really like that one, I love the stretching in between the cardio bursts. I felt like my energy levels weren't what they normally are (exhausted and not properly fueled... gee I wonder!) but I tried my best, still feel like I got in a good workout, and made it through doing more jumping and less modifications than last time. After that I did Lower Focus... or to be totally honest, I did 20 out of the 25 minutes of it. I skipped the warm up part. I did better than I did last time, but I'm still slow on a lot of the transitions. My legs were shaking and jelly by the end of it. It was a good workout day!

Now I'm exhausted and going to head to bed early so I can hit up tomorrow and slay my Friday Cardio Workout! Hard to believe that I'm almost done with week 3 of T25!!!
