Walking it off!

The other day I got stuck in the rat race of doing too much, and draining our inner resources.
My recent costly mishap with the credit card (see Tuesday’s blog) left me shaken and a bit discouraged. I needed to get out and walk it off. I needed time a space to think and to forgive myself for not watching the bills closer. I needed to tell myself that it is not the end of the world. My grandkid money was used to pay the extra charges. Now I will have to be more creative in finding ways to have fun and show love.
Yesterday’s plan was to race right down to my mother’s house and start working, but my dear husband said; “Please don’t do that!” “Take some time for yourself.”
I quilted, walked and cleaned the house.
Today is another beautiful day. We all need to choose wisely how we spend our time. By taking time to care for ourselves by eating right, exercising and enjoying nature, we have a wonderful gift of love and joy to give to others. I will be walking in nature. Enjoy!
