Day 193 update

Got my test results back and they were as bad as I expected. My A1C went from 6.9 to 7.8. It hasn't been that high in years. emoticon Feeling like the appointment next Wednesday wont go well at all. Back to 3 month checks after a couple years of 6 month checks. Depending on the doctor's mood that morning will be how understanding he is. I re-read my report from last time and noticed on the report it states to up my insulin units if needed but that isn't what he verbally told me at the appointment in November.

I guess I just need to go into the appointment with the attitude that 7.8 is from whatever happened in the past 6 months and we need to move forward and improve. No excuses just forward momentum. Hope the doctor sees it that way too.

    Don't beat yourself up. It's a constant struggle, but I feel like, all things considered, you work very hard to keep everything level. Like you said, it's just moving forward from those last 6 months to make the next 6 months the best they can be. You can do this, Kate!!

    A1c is a measure of past sugars so you've got good perspective. I finally managed to get my sugars more under control, as much with what I eat as with my rx. It won't be long till your numbers will be back down, I'm sure. You can do it!

    Dang...hope he's in a good mood. You have a positive attitude and you can't do anything about the last 6 months now, so it's all forward.
