Keeping a low profile

Here's the thing...I'm always doing this. Starting a health challenge, trying to lose weight, blah, blah, blah. I'm sure no one in my inner circle truly takes me seriously anymore because it's kind predictable, as everyone knows the outcome. I've only been successful in losing weight a couple times in my life. After having my babies (15 pounds each time) and then in 2010 when I lost 26 pounds. Can I do this? Clearly, yes! I have the tools and knowledge. It's just my mind and behaviors that I allow to sabotage me. Isn't that the hardest part?!?!
So this time I've decided to keep a low profile. I've only told a couple people about how serious this attempt is. And even then, I don't talk about it much. I don't want to over talk it, overthink it, or hear anyone's comments. I just wanna do it! I'm fortunate to have a health coach that has been helping me work through food, fitness, and the management of my diabetes. I told her she was my "food psychologist" (she found that amusing) and it really seems to help to have a dedicated and educated person to talk to about this (if your company has this as a part of their wellness program, take advantage of it...it helps!). I also am grateful to have this site with good support from each of you because we are going through this together!
All the best to each of you on your goals and fighting the fierce nemesis that can be your mind. Let's change our minds to change our worlds.
