This morning I was able to schedule the first of three needed ozone treatments at the local chiropractor's office at 10 which was perfect since we had friends coming over at 11 for lunch and games. I am so thankful I don't have to make the long drive to the other side of Boise 3x this week! These treatments are to strengthen my immune system and lungs.
I left Maegann in charge of food prep for the "make-it-yourself" pizzas we were having for lunch as our friends were arriving about 11. It was such a fun afternoon! The pizzas were an experiment as I'd never used the outside grill for them before, but I figured since the individual crusts (thank you Bountiful Basket) were pre-cooked it would be easier. They turned out great! We played games all afternoon and then enjoyed ice cream about 3.
I also added another client today and took the time to talk with her on the phone as I'd told her to call after 2:30 thinking our friends would be gone by then. I am also getting another adult client referral from another Support Broker. This will bring my client count up to 18! 19 if you count my son. I think that is pretty good for only starting this work last August and I know I'll have closer to 40 by the time I fill in the late summer and fall months.
Tonight will just be a quiet one on the sofa. Much needed as all the activity today just wore me out. Cross-stitching while watching "The Great Food Truck Race" is the plan. Once the kids are in bed it will be time to watch the first finale night of "Dancing with the Stars."
Tomorrow... hopefully school with the kids as I think they are both feeling better. (Maegann finally had a solid night of sleep for the first time in almost 3 weeks and Isaac's cold is more manageable.) I am also attending a meeting with the new co-op team in the evening. Shouldn't be needed much longer at the meetings as they are ready to just get going!
