Setting out for another adventure with my ice cream maker. Yesterday the cylinder was in the center back of the fridge freezer, I used cream and whole milk with white sugar. Disolved the sugar with an electric beater as they said to do in the manual. Churned it for 30 minutes. It seemed thicker. I transfered it into a tightly sealed container and put it in the back center in the fridge freezer. After 4 more hours of freezing it still wasn't solid. But my hubby said it tasted good and needed to be firmer.

So, we went down stairs to clear out a place from the basement chest freezer and put the cylinder in the chest freezer along with the ice cream I have just made. I have been getting tips to do that. My hubby said the same thing awhile ago but we wanted to try the fridge freezer first since I can't handle stairs very well. I told him I would try again this weekend.

Once I figure out what freezer and method work best I will open my world to more healthy frozen treats made by this machine. I have so many recipes waiting to be tried.

Last day of school today. After today my baby will be a 7th grader, 13 next year! Oh I feel him slipping into being too big for his momma. He is closest to me out of all my boys though. My last son. I miss them as little kids and babies. Next step being a grandma. But that is on their time, not mine. I would rather them find someone who they are happy with that treats them right than to hurry up and have kids.

Ah best be getting my day rolling! emoticon
