The Handicap Stall

Now don’t laugh, OK laugh but I’m getting my exercise in. Like a lot of people I keep finding excuses that I do not have time to get to the gym, go for a walk... About two months ago I walked into the handicap stall and my body was screaming to move. I had been sitting at my desk for about 3 hours from the moment I had walked into work. This is normal for me sometimes I need to remind myself to go to the bathroom before I wait too long… LOL
On this day I decided I did need to move, I did a few stretches, touched my toes yup still can reach them… walking back to my office I felt refreshed and more alert. This was a really nice feeling. As I sat back down to work I started to think that was easy to just move for a minute, I can find a minute or two easily.
That started me on a new road, each time I use the rest room I get a mini workout in and having the rails in the handicap stall helps me do squats, vertical push-ups, stretches… Now each time I use the restroom I do a quick workout. It may not seem like much at the moment but amazing things have started to happen. My knees are a lot less painful since the muscles have gotten much stronger. My balance is better and overall I’m starting to see my body transforming. From a work perspective I’m more alert and focused and in turn more productive. When I have a meeting to go to I make a point to use the “restroom”. No more feeling sluggish during meetings but alert and contributing to the discussion… I highly recommend the handicap stall to start your workout...
