Hives and working out anyway

Sunday, July 10, 2016

I think I have hives. I have never had them before, but my chest is covered with blotchy red and slightly itchy welts. I think they are also creeping up the back of my neck but I can't see for sure (and the hubby is in bed early tonight). Anyway, sounds and looks like hives to me. I am wondering if they are a side effect of ibuprofen. I've never had a reaction to ibuprofen before but then again I have not been exposed to anything new today and they did come up just a few hour after I took a Motrin 800. In the meantime, I am taking an antihistamine and trying not to scratch them!

I did not let my puzzling outbreak stop me from doing BUTI tonight. Has anyone else tried BUTI yet? If you are the kind of person who doesn't do yoga because its 'boring', this is practically anti-yoga and you should totally try it. On the other hand, if you practice yoga regularly now and have a hankering for something challenging and maybe a bit out of your comfort zone, you should totally try it. I broke down and bought a monthly subscription, but started out doing the free YouTube videos below:

Anyhow, I am going to go try an oatmeal bath and drink a gallon or so of water in hopes of easing these hives. Have a great week!
