I havent blogged in a little bit. Dont know why, just been sticking to Netflix and not getting on SP much other than to track fitness and nutrition.
I am doing a little better, I got my shoes back from the repair shop and walked 4 miles yesterday.
Adding more fiber to my diet and trying to watch my calories.
I can do better.
Every meal is a learning experience, what could I have left out and what will I know to leave out next time.
Trying to stay positive, but I am sleep deprived this morning.
Anyone who wears a cpap here???
I got a brand new machine, new tubing, new mask, etc about 5 weeks ago.
Last week I had to take my card out to have it downloaded and I may be overthinking things, but since then, something isnt right.
I am getting this forceful sucking and blowing in the mask that wasnt present before.
Last night it was so bad, I switched the mask out with my old one and it kept doing it.
So, I thought maybe the tubing wasnt right, so I switched out the tubing and it still did it.
So, is it in the machine???
Or, is it just me??
If I open my mouth, the mask wooshes hard against my face and blows back out, in and out, loud hard wooshing.
But even when I close my mouth, it feels like the pressure is building up inside the mask and not properly venting.
I am going to call them and have them check it online and see if there is some problem present.
I slept about 2 full hours last night due to the pressure build up and the wooshing and the annoyance.
How is a cpap helping your health if you are a zombie when you wake up in the morning???
I am also going to hook my old machine back up tonight and see if this happens, if not, then I am taking the new one back.
I need sleep and I sure am not going to get it like this.

Although I don't use a CPAP, I feel your sleep-deprived pain. I'm up two to five times a night have to use the washroom. It's a real pain.

I do use a CPAP- mine is a Respironics, and I don't have to take the card out to read it- it autosends everything to the Dr and Respironics. I think you are going to have to call your technician- that doesn't sound right. Mine is an autopap so it ramps up the speed gradually. The machine itself has indicators for mask fit. If you have a humidifier, check to make sure it is properly placed. When mine is unseated I get that rush of air too.

Life has gotten better since I started the CPAP last April. I do wake up refreshed- but still need that triple dose of java to get going :)

I don't use a CPAP but you might check with your respiratory company and see if there is an issue with the machine.
