Day 175

Tuesday, August 30, 2016

Today I thought about everything that I do for my family, everything that I sacrifice so that they have what they want and need. I get up at 2:00 am every morning to make my husband's coffee and pack his lunch. Then I take a nap and then wake up to get my kids ready for school and feed them pack their lunched and then drop them off. Then I work for 8 hours come home cook clean and usually stay up finishing things around the house. I always put myself last. Then to make it worse I reward myself with food. I wait until I am alone and I eat my favorite snacks as a form of relaxing. Things need to change, if I can wake up early for my husband then I can wake up early for myself and exercise for 30 min. I need to make time to take care of me too.

Putting yourself is actually not selfish, but beneficial for everyone! You reap benefits and so does your family! I like your attitude about this.... 30 minutes of exercise feels so much better than 20 seconds of food... most of the time hahaha

Yes you do. You can't sustain taking care of everyone else if you don't take care of yourself. :-)
