So I tried to plan things out for the week and it didnt really work. I needed help moving things out of the dining room so that I could paint but my aunt would change her mind last minute. She has been putting in a lot of OT at work so thats why she wasnt helping me so much.

We did finally clear the room out and I got the primer and 2 coats up. The room was a really dark brown. Now its a creamy yellow. I look at it and feel that I should have put 3 or even 4 coats of primer on it but its to late now. Its just at all the cut in spots that looks funny. Ill have the room done by the end of the week.

Yesterday I walked around the yard and realized that it looks like Ive done nothing all summer. All this rain has made the weeds grow like crazy. I wrote up a list of THINGS THAT HAVE TO GET DONE by mid October. My weekends I will pretty much be living outside and I want to try to head out for an hour every day. Since I dont babysit on Thursdays and Fridays I want to head out early on those days. Pretty much work from 7 to 1. That all depends on how my grandma is doing.

I wrote up a list and then estimated a time frame of how long each thing should take and it came to around 40 hours. It may sound like a lot but to me it seems very little. Weeding really screws with your time. When ever I weed it feels like I was out there for an hour but it was 2 hours and I got very little done. So even though I would love for it to be 40, it will most likely be 80. We live on a half acre and the previous owners had some big beds and of course we added 3 more over the years.

I just realized that there is actually a few more things I need to add to the list. The usual work you do to get things ready for winter and weeding behind the shed to paint it. So lets add on another 10 hours. My aunt might be helping with some but I dont want her to do to much because she has been having issues with her elbows from lifting grandma up.

Lets hope the weather is on my side during the weekends and that I dont get a splitting headache on those nice days.

Your work schedule is awesome. I hope you manage to get it all done. Weeding can be a major hassle especially when it's been warm and damp. If you can afford it why not consider covering the weedy bits with bark chips once it's cleared. That will help to stop them regrowing. Oh, and when you've finished how about popping over to mine. I've got loads too, lol. At least all the exercise is good for the figure.

My yard probably looks like yours! It's just been too humid and busy this summer. I'll be getting to work on mine this weekend.
