Down another pound!!!
I am celebrating this little loss. Yet.....the self critic in me says....if you hadnt had that roll with dinner the other night, or those two pieces of bread last night you might be down 2 lbs!!!
I cant disagree.
But, I will take the one pound loss and be happy with it.
What I am unhappy with this morning, waking up, logging onto my laptop and the dang font has changed.
It is smaller and I have had to increase it twice, log off, log back in, but cant seem to get it back to normal.
I think Santa needs to bring me a new laptop!!!
Thinking I need to go put one on layaway at Walmart. I dont like buying electronics there, and the laptop I am currently using came from Staples and is 4 years old.
Maybe I will just upgrade my system and get some new antivirus protection and continue using this one.
I need new walking shoes!!!!
My foot issue continues, it isnt plantar faciscitlisesssss or however you say it.....
The pain I have, is in my left foot, in the back of my ankle bone, it is a sharp striking pain shooting up from the heel into the ankle.
It is the same foot that I broke, but the pain isnt in the same location and seems to only happen to me mid-walk.
Some days I think its going to get so bad I have to quit.
But I try to stick it out.
Do I really need new shoes? I am considering just getting some good new inserts.
I have stopped wearing the custom orthotics made for me.
They are hard and ungiving.
I need gel, I need bounce and cushioning.
And I need it to stop raining!!!
Today, I am cooking stuffed cabbage rolls in the crock pot and cleaning my house.
Everyone have a good day.

That pain you're having is from a nerve being compressed because of a gait issue. Your custom orthotics should relieve the pain. I have the same issue; I over pronate and walk like a duck. Try wearing your orthotics for an hour and gradually increase the time. This won't fix the problem but will align your foot properly. This will make the pain dissipate.

emoticon Weight loss is an art not a science! We can't dwell on the woulda, coulda, shoulda's. emoticon Good job on letting yesterday go, and just focusing on today.

When my feet start hurting, the first thing I check are my hips. When they are too tight, or out of alignment, it is very painful to walk. Generally a stretching session, with emphasis on the hip rotators and hamstrings helps a lot. I don't go to chiropractors any more. PT is cheaper, more effective and my insurance pays for it.

My shoe inserts are also uncomfortable and rigid. I do put a gel insert in my walking shoes, but as I pronate, I put them on top of my regular ones. , Right now I use a walking sandal with velcro adjustable straps. I don't think they would work for running,

Your dinner sounds delicious! And healthy!

    Have a great Monday!

One pound... You are doing great! I've had a lot of foot problems in the past and got custom orthotics for it. It took me awhile to get used to them. I'd wear them for an hour for a few days then slowly up the time i used them. but eventually they felt fine. On different note, what time should I be there for dinner?
    I emoticon cabbage rolls!
    Enjoy your day.
