The best laid plans, foiled again.
Today the plan was to walk 4 miles. I took some comment advice and put my orthotics back into my shoes and at first, the first two miles were going well.
Only minimal pain in the feet, but around about 2.5 my right arch started aching. Getting more sore with each step.
So, I finished up at 3.1 miles, still a good walk, and now, I have a blister on the inside of my arch.
My left foot, the one I was having trouble with, seems to have none and no pain.
But I dont know what I am supposed to do, I cant wear a support in one and not the other. And I sure cant walk a blister onto my foot every day.
I think I am going to switch back to my gel inserts tomorrow and see how that goes.
I am doing my best to do better but its hard to do better when you are constantly sidelined by pain, and blisters and phone calls and being annoyed.
Time for a foot soak.
