Coyotes howling in my neck of the woods!

This is Beau-the German whose heart skips many a beat--who is on 2 different heart meds, 3X a day--who loves to run, who might live a relatively normal life , if we can get him and his erratic heart, to 2 yrs.

He loves to run--to prance around, and to show off to Tess, the other resident German (as in dog)

Just a bit ago ( 7am)---we could hear very loud terrible howling outside--which upset these 2 Germans--
It must've been either Coyotes, or wolves--
It is still dark, so I don't walk anymore , until daylight-
Living in the bush, is a bit of a challenge at times---too many hungry bears looking for food, and other wildlife--

I watched the U.S Debate last night-
--sad!-----need I say more?

And Spark-wise----I have lost the 2 pounds I had gained--recycled weight of course--
I've had to turn to the Dreadmill---with a few free weights, with lotza water, green tea, and eating at home last night with roasted Kale--
-
It seems one cannot let their guard down--ever----'specially running thru the baking section of that grocery store--
"The whiter the bread---the sooner yu're dead!"

Himself, is happily devouring his mega breakfast---so I best get down there--
Be kind to older people to-day---and hug yer dog---or someone's pet---oh--watch out for the wolves--and coyotes too!

Your dogs are beautiful! Keep them close. My friend who lives within the city limits has coyotes. They have lost 2 cats over the years, the dogs have fared better. I love roasted kale!

The state of the presidential election here in America is sad. To me it is a sign of the times we're living in. I live way out in the country, too. We have coyotes who we can hear howling sometimes. Congrats on losing the 2 pounds!

I love your handsome Beau!! I think I would be too scared to walk with wolves and coyotes around. I wonder if my two scaredy cats, as in dogs, would even be willing.

The election -- it is an embarrassment. These are the best we have to offer? I just want to hide.

Keep safe with the wolves out there, ALL the ones out there no matter how many feet they walk on, right? Hugs for all of you there and puppy kisses for Tess and dear Beau!

I agree with "2 pounds is 2 pounds, recycled or not" as voiced by many others. And Beau is looking beautiful as usual! I also appreciate all the sympathy to us Americans from our friends in other countries: This whole presidential election is not making us look very good to the world, I fear.
Glad you and the Germans (as in dogs) are not walking in the dark, with all that wildlife looking for an early morning snack!

1CRAZYDOG is correct about the debate and I wish we had two different contenders too.

Loved your blog pictures. Beautiful Germans and the last one reminder me of the copper tone commercial pics from years ago.

Congrats on getting rid of the 2# even if you think of them as recycled, they're gone and that's what counts.

When will Beau be 2? I'm praying he'll have a long healthy life.

I love the sound of wolves and coyotes, as long as they stay in their part of the world! LOL!

I am in America and I can't force myself to watch the craziness anymore. I have decided how I am going to vote, so unless their is something even more wildly outrageous that happens, I don't need to hear what they have to say! Sad, but true.

Yes, will be walking later and later now that it's dark for so much longer. Better to wait than to be "ate." Right?!

    Have a good night!

Woohoo to you on losing your 2 pounds, but did you have to send them to me? I am up 2 pounds, all while enjoying the
covered Bridge Festival here in Indiana. Food Food everywhere and while I did pass up a lot more than I have in the past, I did give in to temptation (only human, right). Have a sunny tomorrow and watch yourself out there!

2 Pounds is 2 pounds recycled or not emoticon

Our Jack, the hound dog, is doing a lot of howling as the bigger wild things are coming closer to the house. His howl is something to behold emoticon

Be safe and give Tess and Beau hugs from me.

We live in town but the coyotes seem to get closer every year. Whenever a train or a fire engine goes by they all commence to howl. I watch the dogs even when they are outside in their own backyard.

When it comes to US politics, I wish I was Canadian! Of course, then I'd have to move north again and I really don't tolerate the cold too well. You be careful of bears and coyotes, I saw them in the daytime, too. Nothing gets you moving faster than seeing a bear running down the side of the road across the street from where you're working in the garden. Have a great day and give the Germans a hug for me.

Lots of coyote sign on the trails, tip toeing through the tulips so as to not smear the boots. We never hear them howling though. Must only do it across the river when the dogs have all gone home.
Its unfair men have a hollow leg and women struggle with just looking at something and gaining weight :-(
That is why we have to be stronger!
And you are! You got this!!!

I did not watch the debate last night,I refuse to give Trump the time of day.

I am more concerned with the well being of Beau.My girl Chica is battling with cancer right now.and so far we
are coping. She is in remmission, and I know that is not a long term, but I treasure every day that I have with her.
I hope that BEAU WILL HAVE MANY LONG YEARS WITH YOU. emoticon

I need to rid myself.... Throw it in the dumpster, not the recycled bin, a few pounds that snuck back on! Congrats to you! I hug my dog every single day and throughout each day! Um, she kinda demands it! Hee. I don't live in the bush but have had to worry (just a tiny bit) about bears and coyotes. I remind myself that we are actually living on their land and they have a right to be here, but odd in a suburban area! Luckily, Sassy is fenced in and relatively safe. The coyotes stay out in the outer rims and the bears just wander into the neighborhood occasionally! It is the cars she and I have t worry about here!

Packs of coyotes live on one of my sister's acreage and their howling echos through the woods and over the ponds which is quite eerie.

Good job on ridding yourself of the recycled weight.

    Beau & Tess are beautiful.

Good term- recycled weight! I am stealing that one!

I love the coyotes and the wolves, just don't want to encounter or surprise one. Wolves are beautiful animals, coyotes- they look like animal shelter rejects- LOL Skinny - we have one that goes through our neighborhood in the wee hours of the morning.

Congrats on the 2 lbs# - I was thinking of you and the Dreadmill yesterday afternoon! Walking the dogs- LOL

    Have a great day!

Recycled weight...that's a good term. I have 7 pounds of recycled weight to lose before I can tackle my last 10! Yikes...it's probably 7 times 1000!

I am Canadian but I saw some of the debate and it was so pitiful I really feel sad for our neighbours in the US.
Now back to your blog. We have coyotes just out of the town limits so I don't hear them howling but often see them as we come or go from town. Just be very careful when you go out walking and yes, good idea not to walk until it is light.

Wolves and coyotes and bears - oh my! They would all be in hiding in this area - it's back to raining nearly all day nearly every day. I hope you stay warm and dry. Give thanks for the dreadmill that helps you do this. Have a wonderful day - the weekend is almost here!

You've mentioned the coyotes before.... somewhere I got the idea that coyotes and wolves don't live in the same place.... we have coyotes down here in Texas, but no wolves that I know of...

Maybe the wolves also watched the US debates last night and were crying because of it? Again, as said by all - enough of the politics. And bakery bread..... just too much!!! Remember moderation is the key. emoticon

Congrats on the 2 lbs, doesn't matter if they've been lost before, this time they are "gone for good" Lynda!

Watch out for coyotes too, especially if you run into a pack of them! I'm glad you don't venture out in the dark, the treadmill is a much better option- for now.

Beautiful Beau, I believe he'll make it to the 2 year mark and beyond, because of the love given to him!

Raining here, it's an 'indoors' day!
