Family dinner

Tonight is our tue family dinner and they get upset if dnt want to come but they dnt fix nothing healthy and then there is desert makes very hard to atay on track if i dmt eat thensomething wrong im just like i dnt need all of this

    I understand and as was said earlier, it's a shame they don't respect and encourage you more. But some families will do that, so I'd say eat a lot BEFORE you go to something like that next time, then just eat a very little of what's prepared and say "I'm just not that hungry, but it is delicious..." You're not lying and you can stay on track. My best wishes for you this holiday season and Merry Christmas!

    Understand completely. Its hard, but really they should respect and encourage your goals and even try it themselves now and then by making something healthy so you can be included.

    Maybe volunteer to bring something so you know it is prepared healthier and fill up on that primarily?

    Try having a big lunch and a snack before you go over there that way you can choose the healthiest options they provide and skip the desserts. This is my plan before I attend our family dinner.

    You can always take something you have made, including a desert you can eat. Tell them you are watching your weight. You got this😊
