Another full day here and I will be ready for sleep when it comes! Here's the drill:

emoticon Maegann's doctor appointment

emoticon wrap Christmas gifts (done until the rest arrive)

Tomorrow will begin with an early appointment with the orthopedic doctor. Only other outings will be getting Maegann to Claire's so they can help get the back of the cartilage piercing off (those backs are locked and so hard to get off) and to take Isaac to church for time with Patrick.

Doctor appointment was very reassuring and helpful. We finally got better information regarding the foot break. It is an avulsion of the 5th metatarsal and those take a bit longer to heal. We will find out more in the morning at the orthopedist regarding timeframe and non weight baring time. For the concussion he also said there is not any sign of other problems except a severe concussion. Somehow it is more reassuring hearing it from a doctor you know and trust. He's been our pediatrician since day one with the kids. Just time and rest. It was interesting though that Maegann was much better this evening after we treated her headache and got her some food afterwards. I think the stress being gone about "will I have to have surgery", "will my memory come back", "will I be able to go back to school"...... was calmed. A positive today too was that she did remember Dr. Tom and was able to ask him to tell his son Dean hello. They go to school together. Again...thanks prayer warriors! Keep those prayers going!

Isaac has been acting out lately because of the time being given to Maegann and because she still doesn't remember him. The autism is a wall for this type of thing with him. I just keep having the same conversation with him over and over again. Glad he was able to spend the afternoon with Nate today and tomorrow he will have about 3 hours with Patrick (the paid worker from church). It will get better for him....has to be hard.
