Thinking out Loud

emoticon As the new year rolls in, I have a lot to think about. Yesterday is gone and I can't take back any of the bad decisions that I made to put my weight back on. But I can change my present. The present is a present, cliche but true. So my thinking out loud is really just planning. And if you have any tips on the plans that I am sharing feel free to leave a comment or spark mail.

emoticon I think giving myself six week challenges where I make a change, big or small will be fun.

emoticon Changing how I eat one step at a time worked before and will work again. Lucky for me I did not pick back up the soda habit so that is something to celebrate. But I will add more vegetables to my meals. At each dinner I will be sure to have vegetables, clean vegetables if I can. (I'm envisioning my grandmother shaking her head and saying duh. We always had veggies at dinner with her and believe me we ate it, nothing like that stare to make you eat up, the hug after was great too).

emoticon While I might not look like this emoticon, I can certainly get moving. Suggestions on this part is welcomed. It is so tempting to go all out and promise myself I'm going to exercise all week and rest on Sundays but reality is knocking on my door and none to soon. How about 3 times a week for at least 10 minutes. I like walking but when it gets cold outside I make excuses for not walking. But I do like line dancing for cardio.
