One Week Down

It was a good first week in my new health plan. I exercised six of seven days, and was able to stay in my calorie range 6 of 7 days as well. My macros need a little work. I missed protein targets twice and didn't hit fiber goals a single day.
I'm not doing well on my goal to stop hitting the snooze button, even when I go to bed earlier. I really need to work on improving my sleep quality. I also think I might need to work on improving my job situation. How is that related to sleep? There are nights when work problems keep me up at night. There are also days when I don't want to get out of bed and go to work. I've noticed that when I'm with my family or have a day off, I wake up BEFORE the alarm. It's only on days I have to go to the office when snooze has become an issue.
My weight increased this week. Seven pounds worth even though the exercise, nutrition and water were on target. I'm going to blame this on that early weight training effect. My body freaking out about my change in activity this week. I only take measurements once a month, so it will be a few weeks before I can check that, but I'm guessing that with consistent strength training this month, I'll see those numbers go down even if the scale doesn't move in the way I would like.
