Did you know that I am a registered Nurse?
I "trained" (funny word eh?)- at The Hospital For Sick Kids" in Toronto.
I'm telling you this, because there is a lot of stuff, in us all, that we forget to tell each other--
-and so much in our past, makes us what we are to-day!
#1. I really didn't like nursing---the reason being, I didn't like sick people---Well, to put it differently, I didn't like people being sick----I wanted them all well----and nursing at SICK KIDS, we saw many very ill children---
#2. I was extremely afraid of Doctors----We were shown on a chart , in our classes, how the Student Nurse was at the very bottom of the world, with the Doctor, up in Heaven, at the top of the same chart.---Funny, because I ended up marrying a Doctor!
#3. To this day, Himself hates making our bed, which stems from me and my " bed making student days"----You see, he can never get EVERY single wrinkle out--or mitre that corner to suit me, the "super bed making Registered Nurse!"
Life is funny isn't it?
These days I preach the benefits of healthy eating. "You really are "What you eat"----One needs to move----try to stay sane in to-day's world--
Spark People is my anchor----
Our lives depend on it!
