extra cold

Monday, January 30, 2017

The heart doctor gave me a good bp report. The day I went was the 20th and so far, I have not heard back from the surgeons office.
But I am not going to worry about it, I have been feeling pretty good.
Staying away from spicy foods, trying not to eat late in the evening and havent had any gerd attacks....is that what you call them....?
Anyway.
My bp is staying good, the new med the heart doctor put me on back in December has been working really well and I feel pretty good.
It has snowed here, but not real big snow, just a nice little dusting, around two inches and it is cold.
But I am determined to get a walk in and get my body back to tolerating the cold.
It seems the last couple of years my body just cant adjust to cold weather the way it once did.
I freeze more now, maybe my vitamin d is low again, but I wont know as my doctor will not order a test for me.
I dont know why she is so anti vitamin d testing, but she will only do it once a year.
Do doctors not consider vitamin d defencieny a real health disorder???
They should really do their research.
Well, I will update again soon.
Have a great week everyone.

The reason the Vit D test is only ordered annually is because of insurances not wanting to pay for it. You can have it done and pay for it yourself.

I am not a cold weather walker, so am just doing the Leslie Samsone videos "Walking off the Pounds".
Glad to hear your BP is stabilized ad you are getting good reports.
