Just finished watching the annual Groundhog's Day flick with Bill Murray. Had a few giggles for my morning.
Finding humor in a difficult situation...currently my difficult situation is my level of fitness. I am hoping to be a great inspiration at some point in time, but today my lack of fitness is a hard one for me.
Both my fitbit and my apple watch are in need of repair. My fitbit stopped charging; I ordered a new charger but inadvertently sent it to my sister's address. My apple watch band was eaten by the air conditioning unit in my son's window when I was trying to stabilize it. The hot glue gun repair job I tried did not look that glamorous. Great news: new band on the way.
My daughters never liked to exercise with me in the past but this silly 9 year old boy of mine is having fun jumping in on my exercise sessions and starting to dance and dab. There is humor in that.
I was downloading inspirational quotes on Facebook to have as tools for writing prompts and my older sister asked if I was doing okay. I guess ten posts of inspirational quotes is too much for one who isn't all that active on Facebook. Also, a cousin who never calls me left a message and asked if I was okay.
I am just attempting to keep motivated people. Sometimes it is difficult to do that. Hence, the past 20 years of my life. I aspire to be one of those chicks that has maxed her spark point level, has been on a maintenance plan for 20 years, who has attained a body that I feel confident about, and has achieved all of Maslow's hierarchy of needs...
So, I am starting small...to keep it achievable...I am reminded of what one of my old friends from OA said 21 years ago...that lovely acronym:
So, for this week I am in two challenges that are totally do-able: find 10 and small changes. Here's to you all
