BDS Journal: Celebrating 15 lb loss goal

Today I celebrate another 5 lb weight loss. Since starting the Beck Diet Solution I have lost 15 pounds! I feel great! Here are the specific things I am doing now.
1. I weigh myself everyday
2. I read my list reasons to lose weight and the Response Cards
3. I eat everything while sitting down
4. I tolerate hunger. Hunger is not an emergency and I remind myself that I will be eating again soon.
5. I plan ahead for restaurant meals. I decide what I will eat and how much and then stick to the plan. This is not always easy and I mentally whine about this. However, at the next day's weigh-in, I am grateful for resisting the extra food. I have a few instances of giving in and feeling bad about it at the next day's weigh-in. I use the memories of those moments to help me stay on track.
