Forward in February

I started weight watchers on January 5th. Somehow by the time of my first weigh in I had lost a few of those 15# so that was encouraging. I've lost each week & am just a few pounds off my 1st goal (to lose those 15# in the first 3months).
The first time I did points (on my own) I found myself trading all my pinterest healthy recipes for overly processed "diet" foods because they were lower points, but not feeling good about myself. This time I know my body better. I know how foods make my body feel & make me feel about my body. I haven't restricted myself the way I have in the past. I've had girls nights with pizza & dinner's out with fried green tomatoes dipped in spicy mayo. I've allotted for wine & a ghiradelli chocolate square most evenings. I've went over my daily points. I've maxed out my flex points. I've tracked everything & I've learned from it. Friday I went out for a hibachi/sushi lunch with my boss & didn't max everything. I even had enough for a venti cascara latte!
I'm still not doing yoga as regularly as I would like. I have decided to be committed to my practice this month. I feel more engaged & in tune with my body when I practice. Even if it's just a quick flow. Yoga make me stronger & I need more strength because I also miss running. I was having too many injuries because I wasn't consistent & intentional in my strength training.
