my feet sigh in relief

Thursday, February 16, 2017

So. its been awhile and I finally finally found some great new shoes!!
After much searching.
New Balance t610v5 trail running shoes.
I went with a trail shoe as my research found that they tend to be a bit wider and the toe box is a bit wider, they land better and the soles tend to have better grip for wet surfaces.
I thought I would stick with Asics, but the last pair I ordered were stiff and ungiving and tight.
I love the new balance.
At first I thought they were going to be too loose, as I ordered a wide, but they fit great.
They feel great, land just right, and great support, so I am satisfied and look forward to warmer days ahead to log many miles.
As the weather in eastern Ky is fickle and unpredictable, I never know if the forecast is right or just have to wait until I open the front door to see what is up.....
It was 70 degrees here on Monday but so windy that you couldnt stand to be outside, then Tuesday it was bitter and in the mid 30s.
If the weatherman says sunny, dont forget to take along your umbrella just in case....
But I walk as much as I can.
When I am not in the docs office that is....
Eyes yesterday.
Ears next week...along with pre-surgery appointment.
I am getting ready to head to the track and get my walk in today.
Hope everyone is having a good day.
