The Danger Zone!

Ahhhhh... the magical, mystical "almost 10 pounds down" danger zone. I get to this point and move into the "you're doing great! You can relax a bit." A bit becomes a VERY slippery slope, very quickly.

Ya'll I was celebrating a two pound loss last week - not just the day of the weigh in but the whole dang week. What's worse I justified it by saying "I'm tracking it and staying within my goal ranges!" What was I justifying? Oh, just a grilled pimento cheese sandwich on white bread....daily. Yep. On what planet does that make sense? Lol!

BUT - hear this - BUT when I started hearing those old familiar "voices" in my head say "it's ok, don't worry about it" and "you can start fresh tomorrow" (or next week), and then the ever tempting "you're fine the way you are! Fluffy people give the best hugs" - oh my friends, THIS time I recognized them and made the DELIBERATE decision to tell them to SHUT UP! I recognized it as false temptations designed to get me off track. It was the temptation to "do what (I) always do" - make a little progress...and stop. Nope. No way. Not gonna do that.
