Thankful I was able to sleep in a bit this morning as that extra rest helped me get through the things I need to get done today. Once up and around here’s how the day went:
Made a green juice for everyone’s breakfast.
Helped Maegann with her Science (a little bit).
Shopping for decently priced potting soil.
Made a fruit juice for our breakfast tomorrow.
Now I’m on the sofa Sparking and “watching” the final four basketball games with Isaac. We will probably have to tape the Oregon Ducks game. We’ll see.
Tim has been busy on some projects including finishing up our taxes. Not looking forward to that bill! Isaac mowed the lawn (first of the season) and we all laughed that it smelled like green juice!
Maegann and I brought home mostly fruits and veggies for juicing.
This should last 2-3 days.
While I put things away in the kitchen and made the breakfast juice Maegann worked on her planters.
Right now she has 4 new planters and she has seeded them with Daisies, Zinnias, Wildflowers and then transplanted Snapdragons from another garden spot she is getting rid of in the yard.
My knee is much better today after seeing the chiropractor yesterday. I hope this is the last set of muscles that need tweaked from this injury. I also ordered a new pair of tennis shoes as the ones I have are completely worn out and my knee hurts every time I wear them.
I am still feeling “blah” and the laryngitis was even worse. I’ve been drinking tons of water and am glad there is plenty of rest time ahead this weekend. I do have some paid work to tackle, but it will just have to wait.
Tomorrow: church and rest.
