I should know better than to try and plan my Saturday's. Always something different shows up. Today the first thing that arrived was very clear sign of a sinus infection so I drank my green juice and headed to Quick Care. They weren't busy thankfully so was actually quick care today! I had the doctor check my poor fingers too and he agreed to prescribe a topical steroid cream to fight the cracking skin. That's what I wanted as nothing else has worked to completely knock it out. Afterwards I decided to treat myself to some quiet time out of the house and went to Subway for lunch and then picked up my prescriptions.
Once home I got Maegann going on her Science and got some Sparking done while she worked. She is in the mode of playing games, which is great as it is a different way to get her brain working for the recovery, so our deal was to get through a certain amount of Science and then we would play a game before doing some more Science. It worked well and she now only has one more project and the final unit test to finish up and she'll have met the deadline for this unit. Proud of her for pushing through a subject she doesn't really like that much.
She then wanted to play more games so I told her she would have to help me make two juices for tomorrow and so her dad would have some for Monday before I could do anything else as it was already 4:30. She was a big help. By the time we were done and had everything all cleaned up the games came out and Tim was done with the taxes and another project so he was able to join us. (We would love Isaac to play as well, but he does not like board/card games.) We played a round of Sumology and then two rounds of Loot before moving onto SolarQuest. We didn't finish playing until about 9:15 and then we called the game instead of finishing it tomorrow. Maegann was going to win eventually while Tim and I bled out slowly. Isaac was happy...he got to watch the NBA game that was tonight.
Tomorrow Maegann and I plan to stay home from church only because we are both sensitive to the palm branches and they have so many being waved and in displays that we are usually miserable from the allergies. Allergy pills don't even cut it for Maegann. This will allow us some quiet for her Science. Isaac is going to spend a few hours in the afternoon with Patrick so even more quiet time for Science. I would like to get to the client plan that needs written, but it can wait for Monday if necessary.
