Healthy Routines keep me out of Ruts!

Yesterday I got home from work a bit tired, and started sewing, cooking, cleaning and, you know, all the wife work. When the hubby came home, I asked if he wanted to go out for a walk, and he said no. I'm in the routine of walking in the early evening, and I went out anyhow. It's my healthy habit. It keeps me from getting into the rut of work, work, work! Properly planned routines can bring purpose!

I saw this on Scott Pauley's blog: “To change the future we must disturb the present.” Break the routine that has become a rut. Build routines that will keep you on the highway of health. The Apostle Paul wrote that we should continue in the things we have already learned to be true (Philippians 3:16). Routines rooted in truth should not be forsaken!
Sometimes, it's the little healthy things that we do for ourselves that keep us strong and healthy. Another healthy routine that I have is to always have a full bottle of water in the car. I drink the water on my way to work, and refill when I get there. I drink 3-4 tall bottles every day in my car. Water has become my "go to" drink.
