Another calm day for me! Here's the breakdown:

emoticon school with both

Maegann has been up and down today after another night of little sleep. I worked hard to get a little science done with her early on and that was difficult enough. She was supposed to go to a birthday party this afternoon (4-6) but as she wasn't functioning much around home, I knew this would be a wreck. She also didn't even remember the event so I didn't bring it up. By mid afternoon I knew this was a good decision.

Isaac continued to struggle with math. I am about out of ideas as to how to help him keep the procedures separate. Adding 3 fractions or dividing 2 fractions. I get him solid again on one and the other is lost. Just an endless circle right now. When I make charts...he won't refer to them. Part of this is the autism. The picture is in his brain and the procedures are so similar he can't switch pictures. It also gets more emotional for him as he sees it as "failure" when I tell him it is just the opportunity to make sure he learns it well. He wants to move on in his book....he can't until he gets this tackled.

My knee seems to be a bit better this week. Still too stiff so need to start doing more stretching for the hips and thighs and see if that helps. The spot that bothers the most right now is around the meniscus area so I keep pushing on it to push it back inside and then it feels pretty good for a time. Progress!

Tomorrow.... Isaac is off with Meg at 8. Maegann and I have hair trims at 10. Isaac is with Patrick at 2:30. Will be an interesting day trying to get school fit in! I will have a little bit of paid work that should be taken care of too, but if not, oh well.
