Found this to be true on camera safari in Kenya. Was up late at night with group watching the water hole next to the hotel. A whole herd came out of the darkness & we couldn't hear them coming. Didn't know they were there until they stepped into the light. Made me think of a Disney cartoon with dancing elephants in tutus.
Lions are not generally in trees. This was observed in Africa when it was a very bad season for flys - or some type of bugs. The lions took to the trees to avoid bug bites.
Have a wonderful day.
PS - the occassional in progress is when I'm working on a post & seem to have trouble loading pics. Don'e know why the site sometimes freezes. They only thing I can do is kill the page & log back in & then I've lost everything. Oh well.
I am sorry to hear you are having so much trouble with the website :-( I have not had any trouble at all. I use the Google Chrome browser. Maybe if you use something else you should change it or if you use Chrome, you probably need to update it. You have to do that manually, one of the things I hate about chrome, you have to do everything yourself. Internet explorer was nicer with automatic updates. Nice roundup of animals. Australia sure has a collection of unusual ones found no where else. 1018 days ago
