Guess who's back!!!

I have just returned from the new hubby and my two week Irish honeymoon! It was an amazing trip, but I'm happy to finally be home.

We walked EVERYWHERE! I mean, everywhere. I was hitting my 10k steps every single day. It felt so good to be out and about in the cities, not even thinking about exercise. The only days I had trouble were the last two days, because it was raining so hard we had to take a taxi places. Let me tell you, my feet are killing me, but in a good, I'll totally recover in a day or two, way.

Despite not watching what I ate or drank (it was my honeymoon, I was not going to be calorie counting) I manged to lose a pound. I probably would have lost more, but there was a lot of beer and whisky flowing, ya know? What I think is super awesome, is that my husband, after years of giving my heck and refusing to change his eating habits, not only agreed that we both need to start eating right, but actually asked me to make several vegetable soups that we had on the trip. Complete shock!!

Well, now that I've had my fill of fish and chips and Guinness, I'm ready to get back on track. I have a new found drive and, apparently, a new partner. I can't wait to shed all these pounds and get to feeling great for once!
