Celebrating ten weeks of maintenance

Greetings Sparkers!
Weight today: 125 pounds.

Weighing daily has become a lifestyle, just like brushing my teeth. I don't create alot of angst around it; it's just routine maintenance, something I do to maintain my optimum body.

My weight tends to fluctuate up and down a couple of pounds but hold around 125. I have figured out how much to eat and how much activity I need. Having said that the last week has been super busy with work and business meetings. More clients, all good. But our daily walk has fallen low on the list. We went out yesterday and did our usual two mile loop but it seemed so long. Not tiring. Just long. We might pick out a different hike over the weekend for variety. I like to keep things fresh.

Another payoff besides better health is that I get to indulge some shopping for stylish summer clothes. We went to J.Crew and found a cute blue and white striped top which looks great with my white silk and linen pants. An outfit I wore to the beach this past weekend. I do feel my body is right sized and I get a kick out of seeing 'small' on the label. Now that I get to show off my waist, I am wearing styles I haven't worn in years. And some I have never worn. Fun experimenting.

I haven't been on Spark for the past few weeks but I wanted to come back and check in today and acknowledge what an important part of my journey this community has been. So grateful to Chris Downie for following his heart and creating this site, and to all my amazing Spark friends who encouraged me along the way. I will be still checking in from time to time, Sparkers!
