Early Morning Pep Talk

Woo woo! Feeling good today! I had my yogurt and granola breakfast and working on my tea. I gave myself a pep talk the entire walk to my office, because the Starbucks is right on the way, AND there was no line this morning. It's a miracle that I just walked right past. As much as I want a nice frothy beverage, I had my tea and granola instead! Boom, feeling invincible.

I'm still feeling pretty sick, but better than I did on Thursday/Friday. At least I can get out of bed for more than a few minutes. Friday I managed to go grocery shopping, but it was mostly because I needed more medication and cough drops anyway.

I did manage to track all my meals over the weekend. I was pretty excited to see that. I didn't even realize that I was doing it. I also made an effort to work out a little bit, even though I'm still not too well. 25 minutes on the bike ain't a bad start.

I guess that now it's nice out, and the sun is out most days I'm feeling more motivated to put in the work. I know that during the winter months its hard for me to do much of anything, but now is bright and I want to be outside and its easier to eat fruits and veggies, instead of junk.
