Reflections on How Fast Is Too Fast

I was reading the article “The Benefits of Being a Slow Loser” by Coach Jen. Honestly, I started reading because I needed to read an article for one of the WEC challenges in BLC Summer 34. However, this is a great article and so very helpful. I’ve been a part of SparkPeople since August 2010 and have lost 10 pounds. Now I realize that is just over a pound a year, but it IS over a pound a year and that’s better than I had done for over 40 years! I have joined the BLC in order to pick up my game, realizing that I need the accountability factor even more than I thought. After reading this article if I start losing at a rate of a half pound a week, I’m going to be ok with that, that’s 25 pounds a year so by the time I’m 66 I should be at goal weight if the Lord leves me here that long.
