Just like every other Monday, today is a new chance to make the week worthwhile. Started today with my yogurt and granola (added a little honey, because why not?). I have my salad packed up for lunch, and I whole bunch of healthy snacks (almonds, hummus with whole grain pita, and an apple). I'm hoping the rain will stop so that I can take a walk during my lunch break.
The weekend was super duper busy. I had to do the grocery shopping, which isn't really my favorite activity, but I'd rather do it than let my husband come home with junk food and beer. Plus, groceries are just one of the bills I took on when I moved in.
Father's Day was lovely, but really really hot. I ended up getting sick from the heat, despite having copious amounts of water and avoiding strenuous activity. I feel better today, but still a little queasy. It probably doesn't help that I still worked out last night.
