Day 4 - Rough Week

Well, into day 4 of my renewed journey to weight loss, and the week definitely took a down turn. Diet-wise I'm managing to stay on track although my actual numbers still come in well below the recommended levels on Sparkpeople. For example - According to Sparkpeople, I should be eating 2000-2300 calories per day to lose 200+ pounds. The thing is, by the time I am at the 12-1400 level, I am already full and have no desire to eat.
So, eating that far fewer calories, is my body in hibernation mode, thus not burning things the way it should? Is sparkpeople off on some of their numbers? Don't know, and I can't really find anything definitive to help figure it out.
Add to that the fact the nephew is in the hospital for multple surgeries after rolling a pickup and being thrown from the vehicle....not the best end to the week.
