Parent Connection - Imperfect Parents presentation

On 7/17/17, I had the opportunity to sit in on a presentation at work on Imperfect Parents. The authors of the book "How Imperfect Parents Lead Great Families" came to speak. It was a great presentation! Here are my key takeaways:

1. Values Create Alignment - Their family values are Honest, Positiveness, Leadership, Respect, Courage, and Integrity

2. You are the example whether you like it or not.

3. Growth Mindset by Carol S Dweck was a good resource for them.

4. Four final thoughts
- You must go first
- It takes time
- No one does it alone
- There is a story behind every door
