"Improved" phone?

So? Friday my cell updates. Annoying and it always moves and changes things? But no big deal? Right? WRONG!!!

It also stopped talking to ITS OWN MOBILE DATA NETWORK!?!?

I called the company and was told to go home and call from another phone to be talked through a repair, or take the phone to green bay and they would fix it for me (because of my learning issue).

I had already lost 5 sales totalling several hundred dollars. So I took Sunday off and took the phone to green bay. Tech support had said the stores open at 9,sometimes 10 for Sundays. I got there by 9. They didn't open until 11! Sigh.

When they finally opened (I went and did some other things while I was waiting) five other people shoved their way in front of me?! Yes, I was first in line.

I finally got someone to help me. They changed a bunch of things in my phone. Made it pretty much useless for me. Did NOT fix the connection problem!? And told me to go home and call tech coach from another phone and basically fix it myself.

WAY wrong answer. If I had had 1300 to pay cancellation fees? I would have told that kid what to do with all five of our devices. As it was I went to the car, (right in front of their door) opened the windows, sat down , connected to THEIR WI-FI, and messaged tech service.

Filed a complaint about the store personnel. Spent nearly 2 hours with tech remotely controlling the phone to fix it. Had to have a complete factory reset (which involved going back into the store and buying a $37 power cord. They tried making me deal with the same guy that "helped" me earlier. I informed them he was NO help, told me to go home and fix it myself-a sixty mile drive-and come back if that didnt work, and that i would cancel my contracts-all Five of them -before i would deal with him)Lost all my customization and a lot of other things.

But the phone finally connected to mobile data. And the tech guys were MUCH better than the store personnel.

I spent 3 hours last night getting some of my stuff restored in the phone, but much of it has also been "improved", which makes it unusable for me.

The theme I used to have now uses screaming neon colors for its icons. Neon on my screen tends to trigger migraines. So I've already spent over 2 hours this morning finding something I can use.

Still not seeing where making me waste all this time is an improvement...

Oh well. I can process credit cards again. That's the main thing.

    Cell phones and electronics, ugh! Can't live with them, can't live without them. I also have that same problem, everything a technician explains to me about electronics is all greek to me! I've decided it's my age.
