Telling carbohydrate addiction to take a hike!

I know i have a carb addiction. I some times go from sweet to salty but it is always a carb. I really need to break the cycle. There has to be a place where i can have the occasional sweet and not go over board. Seriously, can i just have one tiny snack size snickers without 2 more of his closest friends popping into my mouth too?
So today, i am going to avoid all carbs. I am going to purge carbs of all types out of my diet, except for fresh fruits and veggies. All grains and sweets. I am going to give them up for 10 days. After 10 days, i will only have whole grains and i am not going to add back any tiny sweet for an additional 10 days. Lets see if I can finally get a grip on this sweet tooth.
